Meet the Board

Carolyn Amores-Fariello, President

Originally the Vice President, Carolyn is now the Interim President of the Hillsdale Education Foundation. Most of Carolyn's family works in other school districts so she was able to see the importance of being actively involved in the community and its schools.  Carolyn previously sat on the board of Wizard of Paws, Inc, She also started a NJ non-profit in 2019, Every Voice Matters, that provides everyday essentials to individuals suffering homelessness. Carolyn lives in Hillsdale with her husband John, and their two boys. Carolyn joined HEF to get involved in her new community and to learn more about the schools. 

Swetha Chamala, Secretary

 Swetha is currently serving as Secretary of Hillsdale Education Foundation. She is a scientist by profession with a deep passion for education. Driven by a commitment to empowering K–8 students, Swetha plays an active role in organizing community events and coding workshops that enrich learning beyond the classroom. Swetha joined the foundation to help foster a love of learning and strengthen educational opportunities for the next generation of thinkers. 

Stephanie Ng Grein, Treasurer

 Stephanie is originally from Long Island, NY and spent some time living in Manhattan prior to moving to Hillsdale with her husband, Matt. They have two girls (ages 1 and 3) and two little dogs that they adopted. Stephanie joined HEF because she wanted to get involved in the community and support the schools. "Education is everything; our children are the future and they deserve the best!"
